Try a variety of international flavors while drinking around the world Epcot
Epcot may be the most unusual of Disney World’s four theme parks. That’s because it’s almost like having two parks in one. It’s also home to a variety of popular adventures – one being the adult-oriented drinking around the world Epcot.
Future World features a wide variety of rides and attractions such as Mission: SPACE, Test Track, Turtle Talk with Crush and Soarin’. But enter Epcot’s World Showcase and you’re suddenly immersed in one of the more scenic and relaxing areas anywhere at Disney World.
World Showcase typically opens around 11 am and features an overview of 11 different countries which are set up around a scenic lagoon. A stroll around the lagoon is like a stroll around the world! Although each country is adjacent to the next, you’ll feel a unique transition as you enter the next country and where you’ll find Disney cast members who originate from the country you’re visiting.
You won’t find thrill rides in the World Showcase, but you will find adventures like Maelstrom in Norway – a mysterious boat ride through Scandinavian seascapes and swamps inhabited by creatures both mythological and magical. This Nordic trek takes you through dark fjords and forests in a 10th century warrior’s longship. Watch out for treacherous trolls, polar bears and more as you sail through the stormy North sea and brace yourself for a thrilling 28-foot drop.
Every evening Epcot also presents “Illuminations: Reflections of Earth,” a spectacular display of fireworks, lasers and dancing fountains uniquely choreographed to music.
Heading around the world at Epcot also offers a unique opportunity to eat, and drink, various cuisines and beverages! Most countries offer both table and counter service style restaurants. And many countries also feature a “Kidcot Spot” where children can create FREE crafts.
Epcot also offers its annual International Food & Wine festival, but the concept of drinking around the world Epcot continues to be a popular adventure any time of year.
